The Otter Grail of Trail is a Green event. The team at Otter work hard to make as minimal an impact on the trail as possible and do our best to raise awareness and encourage the conservation of this beautiful stretch of coastline. We could not do this without the unwavering support of SANParks, who passionately do the same. We invite you to adopt the same attitude and leave the Tsitsikamma better because you were there.

Did you know that we have done the following to minimise our footprint:

• Implemented a set of environmental race rules,
• Banned non-biodegradable detergents,
• Promote environmentally friendly products,
• Utilise water efficiently & quantify water use for future reduction plans,
• 100% implementation of the waste & recycling management plan,
• Quantify waste generation for future reduction plans,
• Support environmental and green charities such as Nature’s Valley Trust,
• Have an Alien Invasive Plant Control Station that works to reduce the possibility of alien invasive plant seeds being dispersed by competitors.
